In studies with 5% Minoxidil Extra Strength Topical Solution for Men, hair regrowth has not been shown to last longer than 48 weeks of continuous treatment in large clinical studies. I recently purchased Minoxidil 5% and used it several times but had to stop. The product is very oily and makes hair loss seem much worse in appearance. It flattens out existing hair and gives it an unwashed look. This wouldn't be as bad if you could just use it at night, but you have to use it in the morning also. The product can stain and discolor any material it comes in contact with and gives the hair a light gray appearance. I would NOT recommend buying this product.

I don't usually review products, but this one is so great I had to. It is so much cheaper than Rogaine, and works better. My receding hairline has grown back, and I'm not losing my hair anymore. It is great!

Ordered the twelve month supply. Have been using it now for about nine months. Hair is noticebly thicker. Have no problems with itchiness or dandruff as mentioned by other people. Follow directions ie. dry hair before applying, no more or less as directed, etc. and maybe eliminate some of the problems. Try eating a super healthy diet. This can only help your hair as well as the rest of you. The Natural Health Shoppe offers great price and shipping. Good luck to all.

It works great for me without side effects. You should use it for at least 6 months while visiting a doctor. I am very satisfied.
