I love garden of life products, but this one didn't work for me. January 5, 2009 I use several Garden of Life products such Radical Fruits, Super Greens, and Multivitamins, but was not satisfied with Fucothin.
I tried Fucothin for 18 weeks (4 months, 2 weeks) using an average of 6 capsules per day without changing anything else in my diet or exercise.
I used the Omron HBF-306C Fat Loss Monitor throughout the entire 18 week period to monitor changes and did not lose any significant amount of body fat or weight.
I'm 40 years old, 6 feet tall. At the start I weighed 230.7 pounds with 25% body fat and at the end I weighed 230.1 pounds and my body fat changed by 0.2% (to 24.8%).
I love this product! December 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been taking this product for four weeks now and am seeing great results. I have changed my diet and increased my exercise; however I am fully convinced that this product is giving me the extra boost that I needed to acheive weight loss. I have lost about 7 pounds and a couple of inches. I have tried other fat burners but hated the side effects, therefore discontinued use. This has very little side effects. When I first began taking the prodcut there was some gas discomfort but that has been completely eliminated. Also, on the bottle it says "for advanced usage take 3 softgels 3 times a day". I called about this, as it's not a chepa product. They said that they recommend you take 1 softgel 3 times a day for 6 weeks. If you are getting results there is no need to increase. I personally will not increase.

I have not lost any weight on these pills. I even tried up to 3 pills twice a day. It seems to slim down the belly fat, but i have not lost any weight while following a weight watchers diet.
Works great, no side effects November 17, 2008 Well, I started taking these pills about a week ago. I picked these because they seem to be a natural product from a reputable company. I was skeptical, like many of the other reviewers. I also started cardio kickboxing classes and I've been watching what I eat. I started with one pill at breakfast and one at dinner. I didn't feel much, but I measured and weighed myself on day one.
The next day I took two at breakfast and dinner. No side effects. I wasn't sure whether or not it was doing anything, but I found I forgot to eat. My mind wasn't on food as much and I seem to not crave sweets quite as much. It has now been a week. I've lost 8 pounds, 1 inch off my waist and a little off my thighs and hips. People have noticed already. I am only planning to lose 20-25 pounds, so this is a great start.
A couple of days ago I also started using a whey protein diet shake. This seems to be keeping my blood sugar level, and it seems to be helping with the cravings. I feel good, and I plan to continue with these pills. It's really nice to have found a diet pill that seems safe and effective.
Constipated October 23, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I started taking it a few months back and became SEVERELY constipated. To put it in perspective - I had my gallbladder out and so I usually have very 'fast' bowels. I took the recommended dose - lost zero pounds - even w/ diet and exercise. The constipation was so bad that I didn't go for three days and when I did it was very painful. I gave them to my mother-in-law who wanted to try it... same thing happened to her even though her health is nearly perfect.
Garbage.
