A Classic, and it works! September 30, 2008 Its a simple procedure, but so powerful. When I had bad sinuses in the past, I used to wish I could remove my nose, clean out the plumbing and put it back on. (sorry for the weird visual) Using the Neti Pot is the next best thing. Not sure if the Himilayan Inst. is the original Netti Pot maker, but the pot I received is sturdy, well made and effective..it works! If you have severe sinus problems or just tend to "Dry out", the Neti pot will prove very beneficial.
looks brand new September 12, 2008 Received the product quickly and the packaging as well as the product itself looked brand new.
pot review September 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I saw this product and great reviews. I dont want to waste good money. So I took a Sports Water bottle cap and put saline salt into it. put it into my nose sqeezed. it Burned like crazy u can feel it thought your eyes like there ganna buldge, but I dident 3 times into each nose. It can be uncomfertable at first. My best recommendation is you buy this pot or Use sport Water Bottle cleaned pop the cap push it up your nose its the best. or u can spend 12.00 and get one of theese. sports spring water bottle. try this first to see if u like it first of all then buy one because water bottle would melt in dishwasher. inless u have one that wont. try it thos way to see if u would like it then Buy the neti pop or what ever works for u. our save your money and wash the bottle out by hand. good luck.
Himalayan Institute Original Neti Pot, Ceramic September 8, 2008 This is my second purchase (the first one broke). An excellent product for nasal allergies. It's also ergonomically comfortable. I use it twice a day and it has made a positive difference in my overall healthcare. I've recommended this product to others who suffer with allergies. After price comparisons, Amazon offers the best deal.
Made my cold worst August 30, 2008 So I had a slight cold for a couple of days, but no real congestion or anything and thought that this would get me better quicker. I tried the pot and had no problems using it although I must admit it did feel strange. Nothing but the saline water came out (meaning no debris) and my sinuses didn't really feel any different. Just as mentioned by other users my nose dripped a little but then it stopped. But the next day I felt more congested so the only thing I can think of is that this pot just irritated my sinuses more.
That said, I had a REALLY horrible sinus infection about 20 years ago and had to get my sinuses drained; absolutely disgusting and the worst feeling to get it drained! Anyway, since then I do get infections every time I have a bad cold which means taking antibiotics. My point being that I don't know if having my sinuses drained has anything to do with why my Neti Pot experience was not good (it WAS 20 years ago).
I do want to give it another try but now I'm afraid to.
