 AMAZING! January 6, 2009
I can't believe how well this worked!! My daughter started sucking her thumb in our first sonogram picture and has not stopped since (she is almost 7), until now! After our first application, she stopped instantly!!! We were blown away!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!!
Totally Broke the Habit!! January 6, 2009
My 6-year-old had a terrible nail biting habit and also chewed the skin around the cuticles and tips of her fingers. Four weeks with this product and she now has beautiful nails and healed up skin. By the second and third week we were applying it every day, sometimes twice a day because she got used to the taste, but by the end of the month, she had broken the habit. You have to be vigilant about applying it consistently but it TOTALLY worked for us and I would say that she had a terrible habit - her fingers were constantly in her mouth. She's so proud of the way her fingers look now and I'm glad to know those germs are not constantly being transmitted to her mouth and through the broken skin on her fingertips. THIS STUFF WORKS!!
 Can't stop my nail biting kids January 4, 2009
My three year old is autistic and she has a huge problem biting her nails so I took a gander on these and decided to try them out. I gave it a taste first and it reminded me of what finger nail polish would taste like but it was pretty bad. My three year old at first didn't like the taste but a day later she became immune to it and it had no effect. I am sure this product would work for some people just not for me or my daughter. Nail biting is a habit for me and I never noticed the taste since it was such a habit I didn't think about when I did it. I have found a new method in which I chew gum a lot but I can't chew all the time so my system is flawed.

My parents bought Mavala Stop for my four year old sister. She has been sucking her middle finger and her ring finger since she was one. When she was one she had a blanket and ever since she slept with the blanket she sucked her fingers. My mom heard about Mavala Stop from a friend of her's. We almost used Thum another finger sucking nail polish but when we looked at the rewiews they were very bad so we ordered Mavala Stop from amazon.com and it came in 3 days. We put it on every 3 days for about 9 days. She stopped sucking her fingers after 9 days except she put them in her mouth at night 2 times without knowing. To summarize all this you should definitely buy it.

I read all the "great" reviews and was hopeful this would help my[...] daughter stop sucking her thumb. The very first night I used it, she was sucking her thumb within 2 hours. I have tried it for 4 nights and applied more each night, but it did not help. This product may be helpful for those who bite their nails, but did nothing to prevent my child from sucking her thumb.
